APPLE VALLEY - San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies arrested a High Desert man after it was reported he had allegedly been molesting a 17-year-old boy for the last 10 years.Arthur "Art" John Vanzuylen, 44, of Apple Valley was arrested at his home Monday at the 18800 block of Shoshonee Road, following investigation by detectives.
The victim's 32-year-old brother came forward and said he was molested by Vanzuylen too when he was a child.
The Crimes Against Children Detail was notified and assisted sheriff's deputies from the Apple Valley station with the investigation.Some of the molestations may have occurred within the last several years and others in the 1990s.
Vanzuylen was booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of numerous sex charges. He is being held in lieu of $350,000 bail.
